When someone took me out for lunch today.

He’s one of the internal customers whom I got to know through the phone.

I’m not very close to him so it was nice that he wanted to have lunch with me before I leave.

When Monday blues are swept away when the first message you read in your mail box goes like this…

“Fantastic, Grace! Thank you so much for the hard work and effort.

You do know that I’m going to miss you a lot when you leave, right?”

That came from my boss.

I was so happy, I was staring at the monitor and re-read that two lines.

Now that I’m home and writing that two lines, I want to cry.

Actually am crying while writing this.

When I finally get to taste my first McDonald’s Big Mac today!

When someone hugs you!

When someone knows that I’m leaving and writes, “Grace, you are leaving us is it? But why?”

I explained to him and then I asked why.

He replied, “Maybe I’ve never mentioned this to you but I like you a lot!”

I saw his reply and I was smiling. That is really nice of him. Before I could even reply, he added, “I mean as a friend.”

Seeing a small French boy sitting on a chair, with his head rested on his crossed arms, staring at the DVD at the DVD shop.

Then he said to his Mum, “I WANT ZORRO!”

He got down from the chair and started to look elsewhere.

He came back again, trying to get the Zorro out of the display shelf. He was a little short to reach it.

I took it from the shelf and gave it to him. His eyes only laid on the DVD and he looked at it again with such a happy smile.

His mum asked him again which are the ones he wants.

“ZORRO!”

When you see a message like this from a manager forwarded to everyone in the office.

Subject:Found

“Found some soft toys. If you’ve lost a 6-inch Mickey mouse or a yellow praying bunny, please come and collect it at my place.”

The yellow praying bunny reminded me of the one I have at home, standing on my bed. I don’t know if there are many yellow praying bunny soft toy out there but I have always only believed in one, which is this and her name is Grace.

Someone in my office has got a yellow praying bunny too!
