Run, Bunny. Run!

    It’s going to be happy Wednesdays and Thursdays for me because the American Idol is back!

    I only had dinner at almost 10 because I waited for Pappy who somehow got home late. He apologised but I wasn’t angry. I was hungry though but the television kept me entertained.

    Am listening to Utada Hikaru’s Final Distance. I love this song of hers…very much. I was reading through someone’s blog and saw the title of this song. Have been playing it non-stop in the office today, it will continue tomorrow too.

    You know what? Tomorrow’s Utada Hikaru’s birthday. She shares the same birthday as Iris. I used to have a friend ( I don’t know where he is now.) that was so obssessed with Hikki (Utada Hikaru’s nickname) that I was somehow made to listen to her album, Deep River, in which the song – Final Distance – was in.

    When you like someone, or when you are hoping that someone will like you in return, you try to like things that you never think you would like. Doing things that has never crossed your mind. I’ve tried playing albums and fallen in love with songs. I’ve bought a packet of Oreo biscuits a few days after someone bought me and shared the packet of Oreo with me. It just seemed so sweet that I had to go get another packet of Oreo myself, from the same mamak shop, to remind me of the sweetness…because I wanted to have the feeling all over again.

  • And so, I move on.

    Sometimes disappointment does a little good in opening your eyes to the people around you. Sometimes, it doesn’t make sense why people are like that. But I learn not to become one of them.

  • Very Tired

    Only left work at about 7:15pm.

    Then, I had to go for dinner with Pappy.

    After that, I had to drive to Phileo Damansara to pick up a friend who’s alone in the office. I had to send her to the LRT station.

    Then, I got lost. Not really lost, just that it took me some time and some wrong turns to figure out how to get back.

    Next, I have to wait for Iris’s friend to come pick up some stuff as she’s flying back to UK and she will help to pass the stuff to Iris. She’s supposed to come yesterday but postponed to today but now as of 11:25pm, I still don’t see her.

    Then, a friend called and he needs to talk so I listened to him and before I could even say anything, he just said bye. What nice friend I have!

    So now, I’m going to bed.

    Watched this movie today with a friend that I’ve known for about 15 years or so.

    His first gift to me was a small calculator, which saw me through PMR and SPM. I’m writing this just so he knows.

    Unfortunately, the calculator is not with me anymore because one day I lent it to a friend, who was then my boyfriend and my calculator just vanished. I was sad. I’m writing this just so he knows what actually happened to the calculator and hope he doesn’t kill me.

    Today, he lent me two books, Financial Freedom and Financial Freedom 2. Gracie’s latest addition to her list of new year resolution is to save or earn more money. IKEA used to be my source of motivation to earn more money because one day I would like to have a home with all the simple and nice furnitures of IKEA in it. Now, LDP (Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong) is my source of motivation to save or earn more money in order to fulfil my then source of motivation, now a dream or wish (IKEA furnitures in my future house).

    The toll rate goes from RM1.00 to RM1.60 and so, daily toll rate that I have to pay is RM6.40, considering that I have to passed by 2 tolls. Don’t know to feel happy or sad. Each time I touch my Touch n Go card and see that RM1.60 on the screen, I get a bit “high”. Oh well, no use complaining now that it has become a fact that I would have to pay that much.

  • Bebek

    When I was in Bali, I learnt a few new words. Duck, in Bahasa Indonesia is bebek.

    So, Ducky has got a new name.

    Duck=Bebek

    Ducky=Bebeki

  • Okay!

    A big insect just walked through the door and whistled.

    I got a shock because the insect happened to be my dad. And he didn’t even tell me he was coming. Just walked into the house, opening the door by himself in style.

    And my doorbell is a bit googoo. Instead of going “ding dong”, it is actually playing a song. Is something wrong somewhere?
