  • DiGi Yellow Men

A colleague forwarded me a link on The Star today, about a little girl getting her wish fulfilled when two Digi Yellow Coverage Fellow visited her and accompanied her to school. I thought that was very thoughtful of DiGi and that the little girl’s mum is really sweet. I mean not all mum will play along like that, you know?

    ????????

Last night, someone appeared on my door step too. It was a pleasant surprise because I wasn’t expecting anyone. He looked exhausted after a whole day’s work. I was already jumping while I peered from inside through the door peephole to see him standing outside.

    Very nice.

    😡

  • Boyfriends and Restaurants

A colleague asked the delivery uncle if he delivers food at night.

So, he asked for her mobile number and then he passed to her another number and said, “This is my son’s number.”

He continued by spreading his philosophy which goes like this..

“Getting a boyfriend is like eating in a restaurant. If there’s 10 restaurants, you’ve got to try 10 restaurants. If there’s 100 restaurants, you’ve got to try 100 restaurants. That way, only you can find the best one for yourself.”

I was trying very hard not to laugh.

So, have you found your favourite restaurant yet? /:)

Item 5 and 6 didn’t materialise. *sob sob*

So I spent the rest of the day watching television. From Akademi Fantasia Concert (repeat), Project Superstar on 8TV to AEC’s special programme on Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong, our All-England and Swiss Open Badminton Doubles Champions.

Akademi Fantasia Season 5 is very very good. I think it’s the best so far. The interview and story about Koo and Tan was very interesting and heart-warming. I like to see how close-knit a family they come from.

Sometimes I like this feeling. Sometimes I don’t. I have been staring at the phone for the whole day. Hoping to see a certain name appear. So each time the phone beeped or rang, I would rush to the phone, only to find that it’s not the name that I was hoping for. I tell you la. Some perempuan…are very leceh one. And I’m one of those perempuan la!

I am now portrayed like an inconsistent graph.

If the phone rings and the screen is flashing with the name I hoped to see, I suddenly have invisible wings and I fly up to the sky in an instance.

When the phone doesn’t ring, I’m like a lost lamb.

This will go on for I don’t know how long.

  • Hi, Hi, Hi, Beautiful Sunday!

Okay…at least that’s how I want my Sunday to be today!

    Things to do:

    1. Buy the Sunday Star.

    2. Have breakfast.

    3. Research on tour packages. Yippie, I’m going for holiday again this summer because it’s Iris’s graduation!

“Grace, I’m serious okay? I’m serious. Please find out whatever you need to find out and reply me within these two days.”

Actually, my deadline is today. And Pappy was the one who told me to be serious. Know why? You see…sometimes I can be so lazy.

    4.  Clean the house.

    5. Hope that someone would come visit me.

    6. Or at least give me a call.

After I’ve done Item 1-4, I can do whatever I like!

  • Kaki Kaya

Jadilah orang kaya supaya kita boleh goyang kaki, tapi kalau nak kaya mana boleh goyang kaki.

  • The Pursuit of Happyness

Woke up with a bad tummy and I was late to pick up a colleague.

Prayed to God so that He will make my shit to stay put while I was driving. Tummy can do whatever it wants when I get to the office.

Colleague bought me an egg tart for breakfast. Very nice.

Then, it rained. And the ceiling above me started to tear and there was a hole and rain water was sprinkling above me. It sips through the ceiling and then make a splash while it travels down to the carpet floor. Fantastic!

So I said to my colleague, “We now have a sprinkler in the office.”

“Ya ya ya. This sprinkler is special because it doesn’t sprinkle when there’s a fire but it sprinkles when there’s rain.”

I don’t know when the person in charge, whoever that is, will be coming to repair that piece of ceiling above me because we’ve already complained and now that finally the ceiling is torn and that water is actually dripping in. I hope they wouldn’t wait till Gracie is drown in her cubicle before someone decides to get it mended.

After work, it’s lunch and movie time with my hometown mate, who is also my schoolmate. Went to One Utama and was looking for a parking space when suddenly a man appeared and pointed me to his car.

“Grace, why do you always meet people like that?”

“I don’t know. I don’t always meet people like that. This is the second time. And the first time was in One Utama also. Wait, everytime it happens, it’s when I’m with you.”

“It’s always. The workshop guy who helped you after the accident is also considered one.”

    I beamed with pride.

Went to SOHO for lunch. I just LOVE this place lor!

Watched The Pursuit of Happyness and I LOVED it also lor. After watching it, you will feel that nothing is impossible and that if you really want something and you are set in that direction to pursue it and work hard enough to get there, you will definitely get it lor!

    Ok lor.

  • ??? SOHO

Had dinner with Pappy today before he flies back tomorrow.

We went to ??? SOHO, One Utama (Old Wing, Ground Floor, next to Johnny’s Steamboat) for the first time today and I must say the food is good! Very good! Can get a little pricey but it depends on what you order. But then if it’s nice, it’s okay if it’s pricey.

Would love to go there again!

    =p~

  • You Have No New Messages

Yesterday, I was talking to the phone. Not on the phone. But to the phone.

Then, I was talking to myself.

Then, I was talking myself to the phone.

Waiting for it to beep or ring.

    But there wasn’t anything.

So I continued talking to the phone and myself.

    Today, it rang.

    And I became normal again.
