Almost met with an accident this morning while on my way to work. Happened before the cable bridge along LDP, where you can cut out to Federal Highway if you keep to your left. I was driving on the right lane. A Nissan Sunny was on the left lane next to me. Suddenly, this stupid Kancil, on the left lane (heading towards Federal Highway exit) zoomed out to Nissan Sunny’s lane. When I mean zoomed, it really zoomed like there’s no tomorrow. It’s okay if it zoomed if there is no car or car is still far away. The Nissan Sunny was practically next to it. Nissan Sunny had a shock, who wouldn’t? And to avoid stupid Kancil, it cut out to the right lane, in front of me. God, I braked like mad. Nissan Sunny sort of skidded a bit because it wanted to get back to its lane before I kiss its butt. I could see smoke coming out from the tyre…or something like that. I saw smoke that is. I am very surprised I didn’t at least kissed the Sunny because it was SOOOOOOOO near. Luckily Sunny was still moving or if it had stopped abruptly, you won’t see me anymore.
I was shocked also so I just honked. After that, while I drove on, my heart beated tak tentu arah.
At work. Ada kawan baru. We, gang of two, recruited new member for tea in the pantry today. So..maybe from today onwards, it’s teatime for three instead of two. She’s cute. Like budak kecik. Saiz also kecik. I feel so tall standing next to her. :))
Just uploaded 12 photos taken in Bali (Day 1). Scroll down, okay?
So many stories, so little time. I’ve been wanting to write for so long. I want to tell you about the car accident, the annual dinner, my new computer, Bali, but till then, I’ve got to finish edit those photos and then I’ll write.
Good night!
A pleasant surprise is when a friend of yours who’s working in Canada tells you that she’s engaged and getting married next year.
It’s a surprise because each time I ask her if she has a boyfriend, she says no. And today, she suddenly told me she’s engaged and she’s getting married! 😮
A lot of love is in the air lately. I have just got another invitation from an ex-colleague who’s getting married at the end of the month and I can’t wait to attend the wedding dinner because I want to meet my kawan-kawan lama.
Writer will be off to Bali tomorrow. Yes, it’s Bali. I can’t believe this is happening because Bali is something like my dream destination. Hopefully I will not be bombed. And I won’t be back till Sunday.
Be naughty if you need to! >:)
….I really do love her voice, her songs, her music, her…playing the piano.
Wanted to blog last night but the server was down.
Have to blog tonight because will not be blogging a few days after that. Will tell you why tomorrow.
My parents are here. They flew in from Sandakan today.
The first question my mum asked me when I stepped into the house after coming back from work was, “Grace, do you have a boyfriend or not?”
Oh My God! Ahahaha.
I said, “No.”
“Nobody wants you ah?”
“Yes.”
Pappy came back a few minutes later, from his game of tennis. He pointed to the DVD he bought. Happy Feet! Pirated one.
“Pa, have you watched it?”
“Yes.”
“Grace, what does the ending mean?”
“Hmm…it means human won’t be taking away the fishes from the penguins anymore.”
“But it could mean another thing, you know? Those human will be taking all the penguins and putting them into the museum.”
I think when he said museum, he was actually referring to a zoo.
“Because those penguins can dance.”
Then, Pappy tapped his feet.
Oh My God! Ahahaha.
That’s all for now…because I’m sleepy!

If you think I’m dead since I have not been writing, I’m not.
But my computer is dead and I’m now running with a new PC. So happy! This is a self-bought Christmas present and an early one too.
While I was PC-less, I attended my company’s annual dinner, watched Healing Hands 3 (It’s really good but too bad next Monday is going to be the last episode) and met with a minor car accident ( I will definitely blog about this so please wait!).
Now…it’s 12:20am and I’ve just got connected to the Internet. I’ve been out since 7:45am and have not had any rest till now. I’ll go take my bath now. It’s going to be a splashy one.
Anyone of you suffer from the following penyakit?
You go out of the house, close the door, lock it then you walk down the stairs to get your car and then you ask yourself if you have already locked the door. To be on the safe side, you walk back up, turn the door knob, to realise that it’s already locked!
You get out of the car, locked the doors, walk to your destination and then you ask yourself if you have already locked the doors. So, you “tit-tit” your remote control and the locked doors are unlocked, you know you did lock the doors! Then, you “tit-tit” your remote control again to lock it once more.
Got or not? Got or not?
I’ve got a dinner tomorrow. Decided what to wear. The dress that I saw and liked and bought it even though I didn’t know when I would wear it. Now, comes in handy. Next time, when you see something like that, must buy! Cos when you want to find something like that when you need it, sure cannot find one! Unexplainable but so very true! Something like falling in love.
Now, should the V-neck dress go with a tube?
No tube. Very nice. But I’m afraid I cannot walk properly.
Tube. Still nice. But not as nice as very nice. But I’m comfortable.
Tube?
No tube?
Tube?
No tube?
tiup…
One thing’s for sure, I’ll never get bored reading about zodiac, horoscopes and the like. I’m presenting you something a friend forwarded to me about a week ago.
Personality
Honest, faithful and possessing deep loyalty and responsibility. Can be magnanimous and prosperous, yet also guarded and defensive, never really relaxed despite outer calm. She has a glib tongue, practical and realistic. The Dog is also trustworthy and generous to people and has a deep sense of justice.
This maybe the most likable sign of all in the Chinese cycle. A person born in the year of the Dog is honest, intelligent and straightforward. He has a deep sense of loyalty and a passion for justice and fair play. A dog native is usually animated and attractive and will exude sex appeal. Generally amiable and unpretentious, he will know how to get along with others as he is not too demanding. The egalitarian dog likes to meet others halfway, is always willing to listen to reason and can be counted on to do his share.
For a friend, you must know that whenever you are in trouble, all you have to do is dial D-O-G. For no matter how much he or she complains, scold, feign indifference, the Dog person cannot ignore a real call for help. At times, the dog protects the interests of others more avidly than his own. The Dog often sticks to his object of affection no matter how unworthy the person is. You don’t find a dog leaving home just because he discovers that his master has the proverbial feet of clay. He makes allowances for such frailties and will probably stick it out think or thin.
The Dog likes: Routine, Challenges, Friends, Presents, Travel, Food, Play and Nature
The Dog dislikes: Mistreatment, Fakes, Discomfort, Rudeness, Dishonesty, Hunger and Anger.
My comments:
Can you see how many times the word, honest and loyal, appeared?
Magnanimous. It means a heart big enough to hold no grudges.
never really relaxed despite outer calm: I’m always very gan jiong.
glib: artfully persuasive in speech
the most likable sign of all: I’m so proud to be born a Dog.
animated: meaning like cartoon. ![]()
exude sex appeal: I’m sexy wor..!
egalitarian: a person who believes in the equality of all people
D-O-G: is my mobile number.
sticks to his object of affection no matter how unworthy the person is : Ducky!
The Dog likes: Routine, (Waking up, driving to work, smile stupidly at the computer screen, have lunch, work some more, let out a pee or two, sometimes shit, drive home, cook dinner, television talks to me, look at wall, talk to others through the computer, read blog, sleep)
Friends, (Who doesn’t like them?)
Presents, (Who doesn’t like them?)
Travel, (seriously, who doesn’t like it?)
Food, (even those who hate it must eat!)
Play (…who doesn’t?)
and Nature (especially the beach)
The Dog dislikes: Mistreatment, (Who likes to be mistreated?)
Fakes, (This is so true!)
Discomfort (Uh huh)
Rudeness (Yes)
Dishonesty (Yes)
Hunger, ( I laughed when I read this because it’s so true. I get cranky and crabby when I’m hungry.)
and Anger (makes me tremble).
Mr.Stalker called again today. Once. Me no pick up. Tak jemu ke?
Made someone laughed wholeheartedly in the pantry today. I only said two words.
When I was parking my car, my neighbour who was standing next to his car, gave me a tabik hormat. Funny!
