  • Milo Herbal Tea

Do you know what Milo Herbal Tea tastes like?

I was in SS2 yesterday for breakfast and ordered Iced Milo. Iris ordered liong cha and so did Pappy. Well, he wanted Chinese tea but the guy heard wrongly as liong cha.

When I was sipping my glass of milo, it tasted funny. Drinkable but funny. After a few more sips, I asked Iris if the liong cha she’s having is winter melon tea (dong gua liong cha).

    Yup.

I think some of the winter melon tea went into my glass of milo. I only managed to finish half glass of it.

    Today.

I picked up a dead lizard from the floor.

    Yucks.

    Today.

It is a bloody hot day.

Pappy left KL today and I’m reading a book he brought from Jakarta. “Bule Gila – Tales of a Dutch Barman in Jakarta.”

    Very interesting.

Suddenly, I feel like having Maggi Mee. Assam laksa flavour.

    Cook.

  • Getting to Know You

I was suddenly reminded of this song and I haven’t been listening to it for so long. This is a nice piece from Julie Andrews. Listening to her voice reminds me of The Sound of Music, another musical I can watch over and over again and will not get bored. The songs, they are lovely. Her voice, it’s lovely too.

    It’s a very ancient saying,
But a true and honest thought,
That if you become a teacher,
By your pupils you’ll be taught.

As a teacher I’ve been learning
(You’ll forgive me if I boast)
And I’ve now become an expert,
On the subject I like most.

    Getting to know you.

    Getting to know you,
Getting to know all about you.
    Getting to like you,
Getting to hope you like me.

Getting to know you, putting it my way,
    But nicely,
    You are precisely,
    My cup of tea.

    Getting to know you,
Getting to feel free and easy.
    When I am with you,
Getting to know what to say

    Haven’t you noticed
    Suddenly I’m bright and breezy?
Because of all the beautiful and new
    Things I’m learning about you
    Day by day.

  • Baskin Robbins

Had Chocolate ice cream today at Baskin Robbins for 99 cents.
    😮

Because we went to get a camera for Iris and so the receipt entitle us with that. Iris didn’t know how to break the news to Pappy that she wants a camera to bring over so that she could take pictures. So I brought up the request by telling Pappy that the dentist wanted Iris to take pictures of her braces when she’s in UK and she would have to email her pictures to him in order to receive the next instructions of what to do with her braces. I’m not making up stories because that’s what the dentist said.

After the purchase, I told Iris, “Later you say thank you to Pappy. You just go up to him and give him a kiss. Say you love him.”

“I don’t want to do that. Later he thinks I only love him when he buys me something.”

    She got a point lor.

So I guess what she needs to do is go there and get her degree with flying colours and make Pappy proud.

Foo Foo has got a new toy today. A Baskin Robbins pink spoon.

  • I Don’t Like to Sleep Alone

This song by Paul Anka was playing while we drove home after dinner.

And it’s Pappy’s favourite song because this is the only song he can sing in the karaoke.

    So the radio went..

I don’t like to sleep alone
    No one does
    Do you?

    Pappy said, “Sometimes!”

I started laughing like a mad cow. Followed by Iris and Pappy.

I don’t like to sleep alone, that’s why I have Ducky!

  • The Ant Bully

Had dinner at 5:15pm today. The earliest dinner I’ve ever had so far. I cooked today and I’m happy with that because you have no idea how lazy I can be. Menu: Bitter choy sum (RM0.50 per bundle) and steamed pomfret (priceless as it’s flown in from Sandakan.)

And then, Iris and I went to watch The Ant Bully.

When it comes to cartoon and animation, it goes right to the top of my list, I don’t know why. Sometimes I feel like I’m still a kid. Normal people would pick “Click” which is what most people have watched but then I haven’t. And I didn’t tell you I’ve never watched Matrix yet.

    I am so cartoon.

  • Do You Know

that someone, a fengshui sifu once predicted and read my life. It was said that if I don’t marry by 24, I would have no or little children.

I don’t like someone to read my life and certainly would not go looking for a fortune teller to tell me what lies ahead of me.

But I discovered this little piece of information (which is the only thing I remember out of the so many other things in the prediction) from Pappy’s email account, way back then, when I wasn’t even 20 yet.

I used to have Pappy’s password you see. He gave it to me because he wanted me to help him with something. And it was easy to remember because the password was about me. Sometimes it’s easy to tell who or what a person loves by looking at the passwords they choose from. Something or someone close to heart.

When I read it, I kept quiet and didn’t tell Pappy that I saw it. But Pappy suspected that I read it. It was just there for me to read so being the curious one, I read it.

    “Did you read it?”

    “Yup.”

“I didn’t want you to read it but I know it couldn’t be avoided since it’s in the inbox and you had to help me check the mails.”

But I don’t want to get married by 24. I would want to get married of course. Become a mother. But it’s just not what I want now.

Why I don’t like my life to be read by someone is because what life would be if you know what’s going to happen to you the next minute?

    It needs to be unfolded.

  • Have You Got a Job Yet?

I’ve been asked this question for so many times. I thank you for your kindness and for being a caring friend. But sometimes kan, I get this question just too often from the same person, I will go crazy.

  • The Bed

    Pappy flew to Jakarta today.

I woke up the earliest today after so long.

It’s nice to drive 6:30 in the morning to send Pappy to KL Sentral.

And then to go back when the sun rises to jump into the bed!
